Gleann Fia is situated in the Deerpark area of Killarney and is just 15 minutes drive from Kerry International Airport.

We are a five minute drive from Ross Castle, Muckross House, Killarney National Park and the lakes of Killarney.
Killarney town is also a short drive and its centre is a hive of activity including excellent restaurants, pubs, and cabaret Irish music.
There are tennis and golf facilities locally.

Both Shannon and Cork airports are around 1½ hours drive. Visitors travelling from the UK or Europe by ferry would normally enter the country by either Cork or Rosslare harbour. Click here for details on air or sea access.

Route 1 (the most direct route):
From Rosslare Ferry port to Killarney

Take the N25 from Rosslare to Waterford and on towards Dungarvan. Before the town of Dungarvan take the N72 passing through Fermoy / Mallow and on to Killarney.

Approaching Killarney, take the 2nd exit off the roundabout N22 (signposted for Tralee and Limerick) Travel for half a mile where you will take the first right turn (signposted) for Killcummin / Gleann Fia Country House.

GleannFia Country House is a short distance from the main road, on the right hand side. Our location is 1 mile from Killarney town centre.

 

 

Directions from Rosslare, Waterford, Blarney, Cork

Route 2 : From Rosslare Ferry Port to Killarney (via Cork)

Take the N25 passing through the city of Waterford (glass factory) and the towns of Dungarvan, Youghal and on to Cork. Approaching Cork take the "South Ring Road" (to bypass the city centre) and this will bring you onto the N22 going through the town of Macroom and on to Killarney.

Approaching Killarney, take the 2nd exit off the roundabout N22 (signposted for Tralee and Limerick) Travel for half a mile where you will take the first right turn (signposted) for Killcummin / Gleann Fia Country House.

Directions from Shannon /Limerick

From Shannon take the N18 into Limerick. From Limerick take the N21, passing through Adare, Newcastlewest and Abbeyfeale until you reach Castleisland. In Castleisland, take the N23 into Farranfore. From Farranfore, take the N22 towards Killarney.

On approaching Killarney, take a left off the 1st roundabout (direction N22, Cork).
Take the 1st left off that Cork road (signposted Kilcummin/GleannFia Country House). GleannFia Country House is a short distance from the main road, on the right hand side.
